New Office Online integration
Actionstep's new online Office Integration allows users to access Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files stored in Actionstep from Office's cloud-based versions of the Office Suite. This functionality is designed to make editing and collaborating on Actionstep documents even easier.
What is Office Online?
Office Online is Microsoft’s online office suite, which allows users to create and edit files using Microsoft Office web apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The offering also includes Outlook.com, People, Calendar and OneDrive, all of which are accessible from a unified web app.
What does our integration allow you to do?
Our Office Online integration lets you open documents in the matter, edit and collaborate on documents in the online version (you don’t need to be logged into your desktop Office suite). Any changes made to the document in Office can then be saved back to the source document stored on the matter in Actionstep.
The biggest benefit of this is the possibility for collaboration that Office Online provides, meaning you can co-edit with clients, colleagues or others rather than send versions back and forth.
True Access from Anywhere
You don’t need to be on your laptop or desktop office suite to access Office Online. Because both Actionstep and Office Online are cloud based, you can log into Actionstep on any device and edit the documents on any device.
